Make a Difference When Shopping

Music in the Schools Foundation is a member of eScrip and iGive.com. Register your credit cards, debit cards and store loyalty cards, and when you use them at participating merchants, you will be supporting our efforts to continue this program. Your giving power increases at no cost to you! Participating merchants show their appreciation of your business by donating a percentage of your purchase price to the non-profit of your choice. Sign up today at escrip.com using the Music in the Schools Foundation group ID 500003726 and register your credit, debit and store loyalty cards. Sign up with iGive.com and list us as your charity of choice. Enter the iGive.com site and shop the hundreds of sites using your eScrip registered credit card, even on Amazon! If you take this extra step, we will receive contributions from the merchants and from iGive as well, all at the same time! If you are dedicated to supporting your local independent bookstores, consider purchasing your books from our community partner, Kepler's in Menlo Park, which will donate 10% of the purchase price to us!

If you are a smoothie lover and frequent Jamba Juice, contact us and we will send you a tab for your key ring which you can swipe at the store every time you quench your thirst a tasty way to have Jamba Juice contribute 10% of your purchase to provide music for children in East Palo Alto and East Menlo Park! Only useable at individual franchises, not at stores located within Safeway or other stores.

When you shop for groceries at Mollie Stone's on California Avenue in Palo Alto, remember to pop your empty ink cartridges, old cell phones and MP3 players or iPods into your bag before you go. Recycle these in the Music in the Schools box by the front door. If you don't see it, ask! They are sent to eScrip which pays a generous rebate to Music in the Schools on each item.

All these are opportunities for passive donations which can add up to hundreds and perhaps thousands of dollars and cost you nothing at all!
